There are many things that Morocco could boast of and without a doubt, its beaches are one of them.
From small rocky coves or fine sand, to vast sandbanks that merge with the desert, more crowded or totally deserted urban beaches in the warm south, perfect for windsurfing and other water sports and
serene bays in which to relax in the sun.
Day 1: Marrakech
Arrival at the Menara airport in Marrakech, reception by our staff, and transfer to your Riad. After registering, panoramic visit. Back to your hotel. Free afternoon, dinner and accommodation. We will start the visit of the city, souk, Jemaa el Fna square, Saadian tombs and Majorelle gardens. Night in Riyadh
Day 2: Marrakech - Asni- Ouirgane- Tizi- nTest- Taroudant
Departure from Marrakech towards Taroudant on a narrow road. The road introduces us from here into the valley of the Oued N´Fis, cradle of the Almohades (North African Berber empire that dominated Muslim Spain in the last decades of the 12th century). The last 15 km climb the mountain and make us climb the Tizi-n-Test pass, at 2,100 meters. There is an impressive view over the desert and an almost staircase descent towards Taroudant, a beautiful fortified town. Night in hotel.
Day 3: Taroudant - Chtouka Ait Baha- Tafraoute
We will cross a region of trees and olive groves to reach the Anti Atlas, a copper production center that negotiated for centuries with the Saharan caravans. Succession of mineral and desert landscapes, with terraces of almond trees in full bloom from February.
Day 4: Tafraoute - Goulmin- Sidi Ifni- Playa del Gzira
We will cross the port of Tizi Kerdous (1100 m) where a stop is necessary to see the extraordinary views of the ocean and the Anti Atlas. We will descend towards Gloumin, a small city with a very colorful market, the capital of men. We will continue along a coastal road to Sidi Ifni. Free time to visit the historic center. Night at the Gzira beach hostel.
Day 5: Gzira Beach - Tiznite - Agadir- Essaouira
Following the road, we will reach extensive forests. Arrival in the famous city of silver, a stop in the medina. Small walk around Si, a small fishing village, if the weather permits. A half hour walk, to the left of the village, along the coast, is a magnificent wild beach where you can swim. Arrival in Essaouira. In the afternoon, visit Mogador and its defenses. Night in hotel.
Day 6: Essaouira- Mogador
Free morning for walks and shopping or relaxation in Essaouira, to plunge into the medina, along the defenses and along the port. Numerous artists work and exhibit in the medina. Night in hotel.
Day 7: Essaouira - Marrakech
In the morning a quiet tour of Marrakech passing through the Arab villages. We will go along a road that crosses the entire plain of Marrakech (Haouz), a very green area full of argan trees and goats that eat the leaves of the trees. We will pass through Chichaoua and arrive at the red city. Night in hotel
Day 8: End of the circuit
Airport transfer. Departure from Marrakech
Heading to the old Spanish Sahara, the traveler arrives at El Gezira, always popular with Saharan artists, musicians and travelers, this beach water sports that reach here are being developed thanks to wind lovers.With its wild rocks, El Gezira beach is the most spectacular in Morocco.
Port city on the Atlantic coast, an ancient fortified city of Mazagán, famous for its avenues lined with mulberry, chestnut, araucaria, palm trees and its beautiful parks, although in recent years they are deteriorating. El Jadida has wide sandy beaches and bordered by a promenade that stretches from the Portuguese city to the north.
Located at the foot of the Great Atlas, Essaouira rises on a nearby rocky island, facing the ocean and surrounded by hills, forests and fine sand dunes. Its crafts are rich and varied, witness to the cultural exchange. Fishing is an important sector of activity thanks to its fishing port, the heart of Essaouira, unique in the world.
The beaches of Agadir are impressive stretches of fine sand that submerge the Atlantic, away from the noise of the city and framed by the great Atlas Mountains that collect them in a beautiful bay. The exceptional climate has made it a reference holiday destination throughout the year.
